Southland is first landfall for all the powerful swell from the southern ocean. Its beautiful, remote beaches provide some of the best waves in the country. Nicks Point is located at the South Western end of Colac Bay. Its a right hand point break that reel off the rocks near the point. Beginners sick to the Colac Bay beach break, Nicks point is best for Intermediate to advanced. It gets colder down this area, so wear plenty of rubber.
