Kiritehere is a left-hand point break on a rocky point with shingle beach, located south of the Marokopa River. The wave is nice and long with several sections to play - wally and punchy. Good for advanced to expert surfers.

Kiritehere is located on the west coast of Waikato, not far from Taharoa, south of Kawhia Harbour.
From Hamilton, head west on Massey Street, then left onto Tukikaramea Road, out of Hamilton. Turn left onto Kakaramea Road/State Highway 39, heading south. Turn right onto Manipoto Street/State Highway 3. Turn right onto Waitomo Caves Road/State Highway 37. Continue onto Te Anga Road and onto Marokopa Road. Turn left onto Mangatoa Road. Turn right onto Soundy Road. Find Kiritehere Beach when you cross the Rararimu Stream.
