Hahei
Hahei is a right hand point break on a rocky point at the south end of Hahei beach. hahei is located on the east side of the Coromandel Peninsula just north of Tairua. Hahei is fairly sheltered and needs a decent swell to get it working. The wave is Powerful and hollow. Coromandel beaches are popular, so Know the rules and respect the locals. Good for Intermediate to expert surfers.

Hahei is on the east side of the Coromandel peninsula, off State Highway 25.
From Thames head south on Queen Street, State Highway 25, and continue onto Ngati Maru Highway. At the round about turn left onto Mgati Maru Highway, State Highway 26, then left onto Kopu-Hikuai Road, State Highway 25A heading east. Turn left onto Tairua Road, State Highway 25, heading north. Continue past Tairua then turn right onto Hot Water Beach Road, turn left onto Link Road, then right onto Hahei Beach Road. At the beach turn right onto Harsant Ave and head to the southern end of the beach.
