Rings Beach
Rings Beach is a beach break on a sandy beach, located between Kuaotunu and Matarangi, on the north eastern tip of the Coromandel Peninsula. Rings Beach is a fairly sheltered bay and needs a decent swell to get it working. The wave is punchy and fun. Coromandel beaches are popular, so Know the rules and respect the locals. Good for beginner to expert surfers.

Rings Beach is located between Kuaotunu and Matarangi, on the east side of the Coromandel peninsula, near the northern tip, on State Highway 25.
From Thames head north on Queen Street, State Highway 25. You will go round the northern tip of the Coromandel Peninsula towards the east side. Continue past Matarangi on Kuaotunu Wharekaho Road, then turn left onto Bluff Road, along to Rings Beach.
