Raspberries
Raspberries is a left hand point break, out near the end of Cape Palliser, before you get to Black Rocks. There are several breaks on the same point with different names for each wave, Raspberries, Little Ning Nong, Big Ning Nong and Craps. Little Ning Nong is the Left point closer to shore, with Raspberries even closer on the inside, Craps is the A frame on the point, and Big Ning Nong is the Outer Reef which breaks on big swells. Raspberries is a good quality, long wave with several sections to play with, better on a higher tide. best for intermediate to expert surfers.

Directions
From Featherston drive east on State Highway 53, then turn right onto Kahutara Road and take it to the end. Turn right onto Lake Ferry Road. the turn left onto Cape Palliser Road and continue round towards the end of Cape Palliser, the point just before Tilson Avenue.
From Wellington take State Highway 2 north, out throught Upper Hutt, along to Featherston. Then follow directions from Featherston. Approx 145mins from Wellington to Lake Ferry.
From Masterton take State Highway 2 south, through Carterton and Greytown, along to Featherston. Then follow directions from Featherston. Approx 115mins from Masterton to Lake Ferry.
