Te Araroa

Te Araroa is a beach break on a sand/shingle beach, located at the mouth of the Te Araroa River. The wave is wally and hollow, with some barrels on offer, but it can change depending on water movement and shingle banks. There are several peaks to choose from with both right and left handers, and there is also a right hand point on the east side of the river mouth which can get working on a big swell. Suitable for advanced to expert surfers.
