Tapotupotu Bay
Tapotupotu Bay is a beach break on a sandy beach, located just east of Cape Reinga, at the northern tip of North Cape. There are several peaks to choose from along the beach with both right and left handers, and sometimes a good left hander at the western end of the beach. The wave is punchy and fun. Good for all levels of surfer.

Tapotupotu Bay is located just east of Cape Reinga, at the northern tip of North Cape, New Zealand.
From Kaitaia travel north on State Highway 1, nearly all the way to Cape Reinga. Just before Cape Reinga turn right onto Tapotupotu Road, along to Tapotupotu Bay.
