Bluehouse
Bluehouse is a left hand point break on a rocky point, located west round the point from Pines and Shipwreck Bay, and west of Ahipara. The wave has a steep fast drop in, into a hollow barrel. Bluehouse is a long walk round from Ahipara, past Shipwreck Bay, supertubes, pines, until you find a blue house on the hill. If you have a 4wd you can drive around on the beach. Be careful of rips. Best for expert surfers only.

Bluehouse is located west round the point from Pines and Shipwreck Bay, and west of Ahipara, on the west coast of Northland.
From Kaitaia head south west on Redan Street, out of town, then continue straight ahead on Pukepoto Road. When you get to Ahipara, Continue straigh on Foreshore Road, over the Wairoa River. The road will change to gravel. Continue west along the shore line to the western end of the bay and turn right onto Wreck Bay Road. Drive to the end of the road and find a park. From here its either a long walk west round the point past Shipwreck Bay, Supertubes, Pines until you find a bluehouse on the hill. Or you can drive along the beach if you have a 4wd, careful can be dangerous and tidal.
