Te Werahi Beach is a beach break on a sandy beach, located just west of Cape Reinga, at the northern tip of North Cape. very exposed beach. There are several peaks to choose from along the beach with both right and left handers. The wave is punchy and fun. Good for all levels of surfer.

From Kaitaia travel north on State Highway 1, all the way to Cape Reinga. At Cape Reinga find a park and from here its a walk west, down the hill to Te Werahi Beach.
