The Bluff
The Bluff is a beach break on a sandy beach and rocky point, located on the west coast, south of North Cape. There are several peaks to choose from around the point and along the beach with both right and left handers. Can get heaps of swell. The wave is punchy and fun. Good for all levels of surfer.

The Bluff is located on the west coast, south of North Cape, New Zealand.
From Kaitaia travel north on State Highway 1. Continue past Ngataki, almost to Te Kao. Turn left onto Taylors Road, continue onto No 3 Arterial Road, then turn right onto Forestry Road, then turn left onto Oromanga Road, out to the beach
Alternatively you can drive out to Ahipara, onto Ninety Mile Beach and drive up the beach to The Bluff, can be dangerous and tidal.
