From Whangarei, head north on Bank Street and continue north on Mill Road, then turn right onto Whareora Road. At Whareora turn right onto Pataua North Road, all the way to Pataua. At Pataua turn left onto Aubrey Road, then turn left onto Hall Road and find a park at the end. Walk out onto the beach and find a good peak.
